I don't really have any complaints. But yes, there are a few areas that they can improve upon like the hostel and mess.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, I would say our curriculum was relevant as well as research driven. We had to attend a lot of practical labs. Not only labs, we had to work on minor and major projects as well, which was a crucial part of the curriculum. Yes, they train us for on-campus placement by giving us industry specific training and knowledge.
Placement Experience
Placement of our college is pretty good, I would say. Especially for my branch. Approximately 500 companies come to our University to offer jobs to students of various fields. Internship leading to placements are also offered on our campus. Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft are one of the few Super Dream companies that come to our campus
College Events
We celebrate National level cultural fest called Milan, National level sports fest Colosseum and National level techno fest Aarush every year in which college students from across India come and participate. Apart from these major events, we approximately conduct 300+ events round the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As this is a private college, fee is pretty high. We can consider this on the expensive side. For my department it is 3.5L per year. Additional fee is there if you opt for Hostel, mess, transport and other facilities provided by the college. Tuition fee is fixed and no transparency is there in that.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not get any scholarships from the college. But yes college provided a few students with scholarship based on merit.
Campus Life
As I earlier mentioned, truck loads of events are there on our campus. One can possibly not know all the events going on around. Yes, there's a lot of diversity on our campus. People form various countries are studying here. They have International and NRI hostels as well.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni meet is held occasionally and they are very helpful. Some of them come to campus and share stories about their amazing ventures.
Admission
I gave an entrance exam for my college. I got shortlisted and then they asked us to come visit the campus for counseling. There I chose my major/specialization and enrolled myself in the college. I was really intrigued by the computer science stream that's why I chose it.
Faculty
The teachers of our college range from 30s to old aged professors. We have 12 weeks of classes per semester. In one semester, approximately 7-8 subjects. For each subject we have 3-4 hrs of lectures per week. Teachers are very helpful and very experienced/knowledgeable.
