Lamplighting-Lamp-lighting is a tradition followed by all Nursing graduates to remind them on the noble traditions of their profession. This tradition commemorates the heroine of nursing, Florence Nightingale, who was seen in the dark alleys with a lamp while caring for the injured soldiers of the Crimean War. Vasakhi HoliEidAnd many more festival we are celebrating in our college.

The fee structure is feasible for middle class students because the college fee is according to the students cast categories.It not so expensive they provides books for fours years.

The gender ratios in our college is 40:10. And our college provided so many opportunities for future life like sport tournament and we are live here like we don't feel bad here.

The hostel seat are not depend on your marks because in our hostel 300 rooms.They provides ac and non ac rooms depend on you what you want.The rooms are so good and hostel mess is not so bad.

In our all seniors are so helpful person because they are provided full syllabus for final examination.

Admission

Apply for PPMET TEST and do counseling for admission in bhai Gurdas institute of Nursing and the entrance test is conducted by the baba farid university of medical science in September-October.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives
