Remarks

College Management encourages students to participate in all activities and they support us and every person and higher authorities will be approachable persons.

Course Curriculum Overview

When I studied it was based on the anna university syllabus. But now it has changed into an autonomous college. And now they follow credit based system. They allow and also suggest students to learn extra courses online and asks students to provide certificate of their course.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

Some reputed companies like wipro, MahindraTech, Zifo Rnd solutions, visits our college. Placement Training will be given for the students from 3 rd year. Institution take care that each and every student gets atleast one job in their hand irrespective of salary package. Many companies visit but most of them include some start level companies.

College Events

Symposium, intra college events and inter collge events for separate departments. Culturals, workshops, seminars, project expo, guest lectures will be conducted every year. Farewell day is conducted for final tear students. Alumini meet for alumini students is conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. College follows the norms in collecting fees from students. Additional fees for other extra course activities will be obtained for some certification courses. Management quota also will be more or less equal to the councelling quota fees. Extra examination fees will be collected.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't obtained any scholarships. But scholarships are provided for students for the students.

Campus Life

I didn't relalize the value of my college when I was studying. But I miss my college life now. I realised that it was my best days. It was nore fun being a student there. College support me in my career growth. They support sports and NSS activities too. Many clubs will be there for English literature, photography, green gardening, NSS, Rotary etc. About gender ratio - girls will be greater in number.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they have an alumini association and they conduct alumini meetings at various cites and involve in many interactive activities. They introduce seniors in that field and our seniors will be the first persons to receive us when we join in a new organization or a company as freshers. They help us a lot.

Admission

I got admission through Anna University Counseling Procedure and I chose this college because it is listed among one the best college for Biomedical Engineering in Tamilnadu. I have heard from my relatives about this college. The admission process can also be done with management quota. We can directly contact the college for getting admission. They also provide free education for some students who have secured good marks in their 12 th grade.

Faculty

Best part about my department was the faculty members. Every one will help students in all sort of works. We can easily approach all faculties irrespective of their seniority. Even head of the department will be easily approachable. Teachers also identify each and every students talents in various domains and make us participate in many activities and competitions. Laboratories and libraries will be open all day for us to make use of it.

In vlb Janakiammal college of arts and science kovaipudhur coimbatore ,i dont know much about the placements but there are so much placements for everyone the placement success rate is almost 98 persent

They allow all cultural events.They also conduct events in the college

They increase penalty if students dont pay the sem fees on time then they also increase the exam fees from sem to sem

My aim is to go cinema field.So,only I choose visual communication.After choosing visual communication only i can understood the real world is so different I can't get it anything easy I want to work hard to get the position I want to be.

Life in HIMT

Likes

With regards to training and placements the college is very good . All training as per DGMA and IMU is strictly followed and the placements for B.Sc is 90% and above . The faculties and instructors in the college are well experienced and skilled.
The college is strict regarding alcohol and smoking and it is not allowed inside campus and regular alcohol checks are conducted . Discipline and safety is the first priority for the college.
Classrooms are air conditioned. Hostel rooms are good . Any defects in rooms or any places inside college which are addressed are rectified.

Dislikes

College doesn't conduct inter college events . Internal events are very less . The few events conducted in college has also many restrictions.
Galley food can be better . College canteen is not good

Placement Experience:

The placements for B.Sc Nautical science in HIMT is 90% and above . The placement drive usually starts in the 2nd year (4th semester) and for girls 1st year (2nd semester). The companies which usually come for placements in my college are MOLMI,MOLTA, ZODIAC,SANMAR,GENCO, ONESEA etc ... The package for cadets differ from company to company and type of vessel.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

I like the MBA to learn about the marketing domain and gather the proper information. And I planned to do the course in the KVIM and they used the digital methods to the course and the give the proper content to succeed the course

My great experience in HIMT

Likes

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
