Remarks

It offers a very good environment for four years of enjoyment and knowledge gaining.Placements: Placements in our college were good during our final year. Overall, it is the best campus to experience fun and education at a time.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable but you will have to focus on studies, and you will ask if you don't understand they will not spoon feed like private schools teaching quality is also good. The curriculum is good for GATE preparation, and it will also make you industry-ready.

Placement Experience

4

Almost 91% of the students got placed in the current year. The highest salary package offered was around 11 LPA, by core companies like Tata Motors and Tata Steel. Even a student was offered a salary package of 16 LPA, by non-core company. The lowest salary package offered was 3.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA. Many people get internships in Tata Steel, Tata Motors and other small scale companies that surround the college. The top roles offered are of manager, scientists and software engineer.

College Events

3.5

Events and fests are the best memories of our college days.Events like LDS, CDS COGNITIO and so many events are organized. FEST is OJASS, CULFEST, E-CELL, TECHNICA. SCHOLARSHIP like E KALYAN, NSP, SAMSUNG SCHOLARSHIP are provided.

Campus Life

From the second year, you will get a single room for boys and for girls you will still have to share with one other girl. Wi-Fi and library facilities are good. Labs are newly renovated this year, and you will get a new classroom. Food quality is best in all of the NITs. Canteen is pretty good, and medical facilities are average, but we have ambulance service 24x7. The only disappointing this is the sports and game facility on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very fond of mathematics in my intermediate times that's why I chose to do my graduation from BSC Maths Honours. But I chose the wrong college for doing so, which overall ruined my life. After coming to this college, I lost my interest in studies and this is the only thing I gained from this college. So, I would recommend everybody to stay away from this college.
