Remarks

It is an esteemed institution.It has agood environment and provided with well qualified lecturers and professors.And the city vizag is agreat reason to join in this university.I opted Microbiology because it is one of the current required field and it has scope to enter in to research field.and i was fascinated about the sibject.

Course Curriculum Overview

Updated syllabus is up to the mark. It is helpful for our other exams also.we have well equipped labs.our faculty is very supportive and we get lectures clearly.every lecturers and scholar provide enough information regarding thr subject and they also give good pathway for our future.

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 52700 per year

Placement Experience

Dont know much about that as I'm still a 1st year student.But we get some companies for placements.As our stream is microbiology mostly pharma companies like Dr.Reddys and arabindo will give us placements.

College Events

We dont have much extra curricular activities.we have our fresher and farewell parties and some events related to university.They were celebrated fabulously.we can participate in them and veru honourable guest are invited.

Placement Experience:

My course takes times of 4 years which means 8 semesters as 2 semester per year to be completed . Students start their placement training in 6th semester which is 3rd year- 2nd sem and the companies start recruiting the students from 7th semester onwards which is the 4th year . Many companies have been consisted in recruiting students every year , some being Cognizant , Tata , Wipro , Accenture , Wipro and many more . The average ctc is about 5.5 lakhs inr . I dont intend to sit for placement as its rough in my college , i plan to do mba . I am going to give CAT exam in Nov 2025 , GMAT and XAT in Jan 2026 . I want to pursure higher studies , mba in marketing being my first choice and mba in business management being my second choice . I look forward to studying in colleges like IIM Ahmd , IIM Calicut , IIM Kashipur , XIMB Bbsr , XLRI Jamshedpur .

Placement Experience:

my college unfortunately uses fake placements posters when they claim above 500 to 600 jobs but the reality is only 300 to 400 got jobs out of 1000 students in the final year as per claim of the senior who told me graduated this 2025 and the situation in the placement and training cell was worse as they dont teach students properly and ask us to self study. highest package was 7 lpa but they put fake 24 lpa in posters trying to fool us . average package is nearly 4 lpa . my plans after degree is simple get a job and continue doing it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. A Glimpse into Excellence: Review on Andhra Medical College, Vizag

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
