The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule University, Pune. It is ranked among the top 5 BBA colleges in Pune. It also offers a 2+1 MBA program for undergraduates. The college has a partnership with University of Hull, UK and Northrumbia University.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course provides basic Insight about the functioning of business, corporate environment, foreign exchange, import-export documentation and other business related activities. The curriculum is in accordance with Industry requirements consisting of practical work like "Research and development" and management activities like supply chain and logistics. The Faculty members are experienced proffessionals having Industry experience and are also Phd holders. In my opinion, Mrs. Sushmita Nande ( the current co-ordinator of BBA department ) has effectively managed all the processes of efficiently.
Placement Experience
Companies such as Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Intel and other corporates carry out a placement drive in the college campus. The placement process starts with aptitude tests and interview rounds in the college campus and later rounds are done out of the campus. The Alumni network is strong and the alumni work for organising seminars, and providing other administrative help to the college.
College Events
The college holds an annual cultural festival known as Youthizon which has theme based performances. Dance, music, raps, acts, speeches and many other performances are included. Also competitions based on social media marketing, research methodology, presentations as well as seminars and industrial visits add more value to the campus life.
Campus Life
The college is located in Kothrud, Pune in the Central area. The BBA building has 7 floors consisting of over 15 classrooms, administrative office, library, 3 computer labs, international relations department, 3 staff rooms, and many more. The college has a ground and a gymnasium.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have opted for hostel. The annual fee is Rs. 90000, hostel charges are 47000, mess charges are 36000 and the remaining is deposit. There are 50+ rooms. Each room accomodates 2 or 3 students. The strength is 250 boys and 150 girls. Hostel admission are also merit based. The cut off for a BBA student to get hostel admission is 76% in CET.
