Student's Review On Dinabandhu Andrews College - [DAC], Baishnabnagar

As Dinabandhu Andrews College is near to house there is a scope of easy transport.It takes barely 15 min for me. Also it's near the metro station so even if I change my location, i can still manage to travel easily. Also, I like the college personally. The Department of Zoology is good. Also, its a government college basically that allows to get the benefit of scholarships.

Excellent faculty no doubt and they are very helpful. The professors are highly qualified and are available. The recent update in syllabus was a very good decision, but still an efficient management system is lacking.

Few companies visit the college and biscuit happens in engineering it maths department the placement process is not at all good or in other words I can say I don't ever expect a placement in our college that is of no use you have to search fot jobs

Though due to the recent pandemic cultural and management festivals are on hold but every year our college celebrates them in a grand way a lot of investment is mad on the fest and Freshers. Inter College contest also takes place sometimes..

Kanyashree provided by government. I don't know if there is any other scholarship available their reconstruction is a government college so everything available there is given by the government only not specifically by the college but I think maybe in the future we can have other scholarship also.

There's no hostel available here. It's simply a govt college not university where you get to live in hostel.so you have to live in PG outside the college campus or in rents and have to pay them. There are many PG available in the locality because the college is near metro so is not a problem. Also the cost is not at all expensive. Many of my friends live in rents.
