Remarks

The college ambience was soo good for studies.The overall academic results was good compared to other colleges nearby. They have a huge library where we could easily access our study materials. The hostel and mess/canteen facility given by the college was good comparing with the nearby colleges.They also provide bus facility to the nearby bus depot for the hostel students to go back home.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was very much updated.We had semestervice industrial visits which made our course easier to learn. All the facilties were good and they played an important role in role in our Academics.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

KAMCO Pvt Ltd, for the internship program but there was no stipend,yet I received an experience certificate from there.

Placement Experience

50% of the students get placed every year. Some of the students who are graduated does not prefer college placement. Infosys, WIPRO and some other companies visits our college for placement.

College Events

The campus life was totally good, we had cultural as well as sports events which gave us a break in our academic struggles. They even conducted Onam function, Pongal function, Navarathri function. And the participations was very much big.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had not availed for any loan/scholarships. But the students from TamilNadu had certain scholarships which I am not aware off.

Campus Life

The infrastructure was totally good for Academics as well as Sports. Due to the low performance of our super seniors the wi-fi was been cancelled, but they gave us one hour in our college time for accessing internet.The library was in a separate building with lots of study materials. The labs were equipmentized with all the necessary equipments.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms were good. We were two in number in one room. The rent for the hostel was 35000 including the mess for one year. The availing of hostel facility was easy. The girls and boys hostel had CCTV cameras for their safety.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

My College Experience

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible to attend the placement drives. companies like Amazon , tcs , Accenture, cognizant, sonacomstar, nissiki, valeo, Cap Gemini visit the campus. The highest package offered was 41LPA by Amazon and average package was 4LPA.

EDUCATION WITH SATHYABAMA

Placement Experience:

There is many opportunities given by the collage placement they give training. For placenta and they have some fees structure for placement and that I have paid 2 times 12500 for placement training there are no of opportunities and many companies give good offers for students.

The course curriculum is good...but it is better to have present skills to be learnt ...it is all university fixed curriculum that cannot be changed otherwise all were good to know about basics and good sib knowledge

Getting into my college days again

Course Curriculum Overview:

Social work department is always different from others. We have too many conferences, different types of sessions which is relevant and useful for our career, guest lectures and so on. We too have field works which is inseparable and much more important than theory. We have visited many ngos, we have been to rural camps and study tours.

Aspects Of College

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are very good. The studentrs are given oppertuties and are given chances for comapnies such as amazon, Wipro, JP morgan and such that have a great CTC and a large number of other companies including startups are also available. If the student is interested in entrepernership then the startup cell funds for the ideas of students. There is a seperate higher studies cell for students who want to pursue their higher studies and are given guidance to what steps are to be taken by educational fairs and such

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

Not a topper but a good learner

Placement Experience:

In my department, placement will provide in the final year. In pre final year they provide internship training to the students. Nearly 10 to 15 companies gives placement in the core sector. It's packages are 25k average. For non core like IT, minimum of 20 to 40 companies will visit to the campus for placement. It's average package will be 35 to 45k.
