The VV College of Engineering is a technical institution of high standard, established in 2010. The college is under the affiliation of Anna University, Chennai. It is approved under the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) by the Indian Government. The institution has produced 11 UG rank holders and 9 PG rank holders under Anna University.
Over these years the college has established 100% placement all around the globe with multiple MNC’s. The college has been ranked 3rd in the district and 38th among all the engineering colleges in the state of Tamilnadu. VV College of Engineering Admission
The institution takes students based on TNEA, TANCET, and GATE. There is no entrance exam for the admission of B.E whereas for M.E, students must have a valid score in GATE or TANCET scores. Students with GATE scores will be given more preference.
The candidates, who are focused on taking admission into B.E, can apply through the TNEA counseling under Anna University or can even directly apply to Anna University online. The application forms can be downloaded directly from the college’s website.

VV College of Engineering Scholarships
The college provides ASV SUBBIAH MERIT scholarships worth 1 crore INR. Scholarship is availed for the students according to their merits scored in the entrance exam. Students who have cut-offs above 190 are given free tuition fees for the first year. And those with cut-offs above 180 and 170 have to pay INR 15,000 and INR 30,000 as their tuition fee.
There is a specific canto for sports quota students. Students who have excelled at the national level can avail for free tuition fees, divisional level students have to pay INR 15,000 and district level students have to pay INR 30,000 as their fees.
Candidates with merit marks and sports, quota can avail for the scholarships and get some excuse in their tuition fees. The backward class students can further avail for Educational loan from NBCFDC at a cheaper interest. There are other government scholarships as per various categories and eligibility for the students.

The college offers a 100% placement assurance, as many MNCs come to the college and take interviews of the students. There is a proper in campus selection before completing the degree, as it is a great opportunity for students to avail for the best.

- Hostel: The college provides good residential facilities, a calm, hygienic and homely environment for the students. There are television, study tables in each room, hygienic & clean restrooms, 24 hours water supply, power backup, and Wi-Fi connectivity facilities too. There are different boys and girls hostels with security guards and wardens.
- Library: The college provides with air-conditioned, two-storied library with a conference hall, 4 discussion halls, quality improvement cell, digital library on the first floor, an informal reading hall, librarian’s office, separate engineering department, and science & amp: humanities stack section, reference library, spoken tutorial cabins, journal reading hall, laptop usage area, and circulation section on the ground floor..
- Sports: The College’s sports complex covers an area of 9.15 acres in which students can play both outdoor and indoor games. Professional and qualified instructors train the students in various sports. The physical education department toils to identify the extraordinary talents of the students and train them to achieve nationally.
- Transport Facility: The College offers an ultra-modern transport facility at the radial distance of 75km. The buses run to Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Kanyakumari district for a more comfortable ride for the students reaching college.
- Lab: The College provides all modern equipment and instruments. They also provide well qualified technical instructors to guide the students. The equipment is occasionally calibrated to avoid more errors.

Don't have any entrance exam, eligibility requirements for BE Mechanical Engineering remain pass in HSC in the science stream. The selection criteria for B.E admission is the merit of HSC and minimum academic requirements for BE Mechanical Engineering in a concerned or allied specialization with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Am going to counseling so no extra process, I directly you join the college, Maximum 140 to 150 cut-off mark eligibility to join this college Application forms and fee lists are given by the administration office. If you joint management quota 20%discount is there.

I feel good after pursuing my program, And every year there was a slight change in the subject curriculum with an abundance of understanding and about the bachelors in an engineering course, moreover, I really admire the fact that the college does give the student a better stage to showcase their talent.

I really like this college with good and technical skills. Apart from this the college also had a cool friendly environment. And the holistic approach towards personality development. I loved this fact that still now my faculty are in contact and supports me with every aspect of the subject area as well in non- academics
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course structure is fantastic as it comes under Anna University course structure and we even learnt on basics of each and ever department which is also a part of course structure. Plenty of practical and implementation knowledge was gathered through laboratories and research centre in the college.
