Remarks

My college is one of the very few colleges in Maharashtra and especially Mumbai that offer occuparional therapy as a course. It is affiliated to a great hospital and has extremely knowledgeable and experienced faculty along with a great exposure to varied cases and patients from over the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is as per the MUHS guidelines and is taught well by a faculty that is extremely experienced and well informed, and very knowledgeable. They frequently update the course syllabus and teach us what is relevant in the field today globally as many of us end up practicing outside the country.

Placement Experience

5

Great as you can either start your own practice or join a hospital/health clinic/fitness setup/ OT clinic etc and employment rates are 100%

College Events

5

The annual cultural fest AAVISHKAAR is a huge event including an intercollegiate fashion show and dance competitions, a dance show and a 3 hour drama. It also encompasses various other events. There are pre and post events such as MUN, Marathon etc and also academic quizzes and symposiums such as CONFLUENCE and ted talks too. AAVISHKAAR sees a footfall of over 10k people

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life

The college has 3 canteens of which 2 are really good, the college also has a 2 common rooms, one each for girls and boys and the ladies common room is especially great as it is 2 storeyed and has ample lockers and space to eat study talk chill and sleep too. There is an indoor carrom board, indoor badminton court that has wooden flooring and also a faux grass turf for football. It also has a great basketball court and tennis court. The campus is literally huge and also accommodates the various hospital buildings.

Placement Experience:

The Placement are good but not as per we expect. In our collegeb there is placement with low package and is not satisficable. They Offer only 5 to & LPA Packages. So the students who has so many skills are not satisfy by that. In Our College, 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement. The Companies which hire the students from our college are TCS,Capgemini,Bajaj, Tata motors, Infosys and so on. The highest package is 17 LPA which was given to only one student and average package is 7 LPA. There are only 40 to 50% stbudents placed every year. My Plan After getting the degree is to do Masters(M.Tech) By Giving The GATE Exam.

Placement Experience:

SPCE has a 100% placement rate every year with highest package of 6lpa while the lowest package is of 2lpa so it balances out the 100% placement rates But acknowledge the fact that the core branches from this college also has a 100% placement rate

Admission:

The ideal college lifestyle dissipates quickly once the reality is reached. Many young adults imagine vivid pictures of what college might be like for them. However, once these young adults mature into independent men and women, and enter into the school of their choice, they soon realize the reality of the college lifestyle. They must learn to adapt to their new surroundings as quickly as possible to accomplish the sought after degrees. Students come to the realization that life is not as easy as they might hope for.
