Remarks

Campus life is totally awesome.Totally satisfied with my college because of good professors, friends, campus, hostel, placements.more important it lis located in my state.Value for Money,Better professor, placement, and opportunities to explore, make our college better.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a traditional one that has been in practice for a couple of years, there is a scope for improvement in the course structure. Multi-disciplinary subjects may be added as per the industry demands. The institute also offers minor degree programme for meritorious students.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 302000 per year

Placement Experience

Most of the students prefer going for core sector jobs. More than 80-85 percent of students are placed every year in NIT JAMSHEDPUR. handful number of students opt for jobs in the field of analytics and consulting. For higher education and research fields, the institute provides a good base. The internship opportunities in the core sector are limited, but one can always look for exploring other sectors.

College Events

There many event which occur in our college such as for technical OJASS happen, for cultural CULFEST happen. There are many technical team DRIFT Racing Team, Rays Rivanta etc.In our college apart from fest there are many technical team which make car for SAE event which help us to gain more knowledge.

Campus Life

The infrastructure and hostel is one of the best one can get. But the institut Wi-Fi connectivity is slow which is a major drawback. But the LAN services provided by the institute are quite sufficing. The library is well-equipped with state-of-the-art-technology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

students get placemetns from the 5th semester and are also give training for a month. more company enter my college like tata ,mahindra, honda and etc. if you have good marks in you six semester and you answer the questions correctly , the company may offer you a high package,and you can also demand you package. for mechanical engineers 100%,electrical engineers 75%and other branch68%. i will work in the company after getting the degree

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . Detailed review of nit jamshedpur

I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
