Remarks

Psit college has the best infrastructure in town as an educational institute and has all basic amenities. In my personal opinion, i would say PSIT is the best college in kanpur.Offers varied courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculam is very monotonous. Its all theorical learning with no practicality whatsoever. I was totally dissapointed after joining. Industry exposure was almost nothing. Only few faculty members were knowledgeable. For eg. Deepak Srivastava

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 170000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Tommy hilfiger. stipend- 10000 per month. A bad experience

Placement Experience

Its very sad but true that all company profiles are sales and that too of the lowest order. Its very sad that students are not upgraded in skill sets and therefore end up offers with low skills jobs almost labour like.

College Events

Super boring. No time was given to play. Only one cul. festival that too was just a showcase no enjoyment in that. All in, this was very sad experience of my life and 3 years wasted. I feel cheated. Hope nobody else gets into this trap.

Campus Life

Sports - Has everything but nobody uses it. wifi - same case. not allowed.library is average. labs are of no use. lying dormant. Everything just shines but nobody in reality uses it. Buildings only look good from outside.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . This year many companies have visited here like wipro,hcl,etc and the average package is 8 lpa and percentage of students placed are 15 to 20 percent.

Generally, in the 7th semester, students sit for placement. Some top recruiters of our college are Samsung RnD Noida, Samsung Delhi, Axon, Bajaj, Xceedance, TCS, etc. The placement ratio varies from branch to branch in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering almost all students got placed with an average of 6-7 LPA, in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology branch 70-80% students got placed with an average of 11-12 LPA and highest of 35 LPA.

When I didn't get into MBBS at first, I used to run away from veterinary because it was never my first choice, but as I kept growing, I got to know the opportunities and vastness of this field, which motivated me to keep going. You can do whatever you want after BBVSc, be it a government job as an VO or preparing for civil services, or you can open your own clinic in any city. Exams happen every 3 months or 3 times, which you have to pass so that you can sit in final exams that happen just after the 3rd internals. Internals usually are easy, while final exams are moderate and hard, along with the practicals also.

There are big and large companies visiting our colleges like Google, Tata and Amazon. The highest package offered by the company is 40 lakh. The average package is 15 lakhs per annum.
