Entrance Preview

I took UPTU but unfortunately did not qualify for a good college .So I chose BBD University Lucknow as My home is quite near to this College and it is a good college .I was always interested in Computer field since childhood .Hence, I chose to pursue Btech in Comp Science.

Internships Opportunities

Many Companies including TCS and HCL came to our college and offered 10-15K stipend initially ,if selected in their Technical and HR Rounds.

Placement Experience

Since many Companies visited our College ,I would say that the placement opportunity is quite high if you have the knowledge and you have prepared according to the companies requirements.

College Events

Many College festivals like AAINA and UTKARSH are quite famous all over Uttar Pradesh and also India .These festivals incude different competitions like Singing ,Dancing, Technical games, Quizzes etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

If your parent salary is under 1 Lakh you can get scholarship of 60 thousand by filling the scholarship form.

Gender Ratio is normal about 35-65 (girls-boys) as in most colleges .I won a Tech Competition and won Rs 5K .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
