Remarks
The college had the required course I was looking for.Also it had many cultural activities, clubs which was helpful for development. Also there was a huge library, canteen with various cuisines. Also most of the lecturers were phD holders. Also there was an option for all students to phD in n the same college after their master's. The college also had a gym. Hostel facilities were also good. Instead the hostel apart from mess there were also restuarant and hotel in side the hostel campus. The campus also had beauty parlour which was a plus point for female students. I opted for food technology because I was always interested in the subject and wanted to get into food industries.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus was good. But there was theory when compared to practical. Also some lectures just read out from text books rather than teaching. No group discussions or debates are held. No activity is held.
Internships Opportunities
Novozymes, research intern and 15000, I hot it though one of my friend who was working in that company.
Placement Experience
For my course no food companies came for placements, all had to search their own internship as well as job. There were IT companies that had come for the campus selection, but apart from IT no other industries were there.
College Events
Campus life was fun. After college hours everyday there were some activities that were held either singing or dancing. There were also some educational activities like poster making competition. There was also food stalls that were put around the campus.
Campus Life
Infrastructure was spot on. The building classrooms were good. Library was huge and had all kinds of books, newspapers, journals. Labs also had all the equipment required. The wifi was available in all buildings including classrooms, libraries. There was sports facilities, but everyone did not have access to it. Only people who were state level players had access. No facilities to play any sports for fun.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel had three and four sharing. Some had attached bathrooms. There was also hotel water provided for bathing. There was a common area for watching TV also there was a study room. Had access to parlour, restaurants, all were inside the hostel campus. Hostel mess had both veg and non veg food types.
