B.V.Sc. in Veterninary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine from NVC

Nagpur Veterinary College is a reputed college that is dedicated to providing the best knowledge and training to the next generation of veterinary professionals. The admissions are difficult and it is a relief and honor to get through, I am grateful to this institution for the time spent here, and the competence it has given me.

The course comprises of several major and minor papers with specified course credits. You have to choose a course that has the minimum number of credits for the selected program. The exam is a mix of theory, practical work and assignments.

The campus does not have a fully functioning placement cell yet. There are hospitals in most of the departments and you can apply for internship there. After B.V.Sc. most us wanted to get further specialization.

The fee structure is minimal and decided by a separate body in accordance with the state government's regulations. We paid about thirty thousand per year (30,000) which is affordable and deflated when compared with other colleges.

The college has many laboratories for different departments, and libraries, seminar hall, hostels for boys and girls, guest house, seminar halls and gym. The Department of Veterinary Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine has two laboratories and a computer center.

The admission is made on the basis of merit. The merit list is an average of the marks obtained in the twelfth standard along with the merit in MHTCET which is a common entrance test conducted by Directorate Medical Education & Research, Mumbai.

Every department in the college has a qualified and dedicated faculty of academicians, veterinary doctors, scientists and academicians. They are experts in their fields of specialization and very focused on getting practical results.
