Remarks

I chose this college because this is one of the top ranking college in the state and provides good quality education. All the reviews which I got for the college for positive and it was feasible for me to get admission in this college as it was near to my house

Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers of the college are very patient and are very strong communicators. Any problem regarding the academic system is very well heard and taken action immediately. The teachers are always engaging with students to push them to study and to always learn new things. The course curriculum is also well elaborated and detailed

Course Fees: INR 271000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement opportunity in our average in the college. Some students get placed within the college while doing the course while others have to work really hard to get jobs. Though some companies come in the college for recruitment but they generally take all the cream of the college

College Events

The college is well known for its events.Every now and then big designers come in the college to teach students and take seminars so that the students can get practical life experience to. Many fashion programmes and Ramp walks also helps in student to achieve the desired results

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is commendable as there are big designer rooms where all the necessary equipments are lied so that the students can take full advantage of them. As being a fashion related college the college has labs where the designer can show their full potential and provide students with every facility

Hostel Facilities

The college has the hostel facility for all the students and the fees is around Rs.40,000. The fees is very nominal as the hostel provides all the meals, spacious rooms, other facilities and the safety of the students living in the hostel is also ensured

Admission

The admission criteria is that A student has to be passed from a recognised board and the selection criteria is entrance-based. The process is as simple as filling up the application form and then giving the entrance exam and then the fees is to be summitted to get the admission

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

Life in joy

The Eligibility is to pass 12th board and clear the NIFT entrance exam to enter into the college . You can find the form and all in the NIFT website and apply for around Oct - Nov and the exam would be conducted in btw Dec - Feb ,it happens once in a year you can approach coaching centres of needed. There are reservations for OBC NCL , SC/ST, NRI , PWD etc....Read More

I applied for nift only and opted for Leather Design As per NIFT 2018 exam pattern, entrance is conducted in 2 stages viz. 1st Written&drawing test and 2nd situation test. The admission is done to the course on the basis of CAT and GAT entrance exam which is then followed by a situation test. Other than that, you need to have cleared 12th standard from a recognized board. The maximum age for general category is 23 and for reserved category is 27. After that you can apply for the program online and the short listed candidates will be given admission on the basis of written examinations.
