How I became a surgeon

The college aspires to make the students ethical, empathetic and professional in the medical field. They aim to build a vigorous foundation in the students and provide quality health care through their students.

The curriculum imparts the knowledge and in depth understanding of General Surgery which deals with the surgical treatment of abdominal organs, e.g. intestines inclusive esophagus, stomach, colon, liver and furthermore of the thyroid gland and hernia. It includes both theory and practical knowledge.

The students, after the completion of the course, can wither apply to government or private hospitals as senior residents or have their own clinics. They can apply as Associate Consultant in General Surgery, a General Surgeon, etc.

Rs. 35 lakhs is the annual fee for general seat in M.S (General Surgery). There are other fees added to this of an amount of Rs.40,000. Hostel fee is to be paid independently. The fees is quite expensive for a general seat in our college.

The college has extra curricular activities to support the students. The college holds a sports day in which there are competitions between the faculty and the students in different activities. It also conducts training sessions, workshops, etc.

The college has a hostel and a serviced apartment for the students. There are single and double occupancy rooms with AC. The fee differs depending on the room you choose. The fee for the rooms range from 1L to 3.5L, electricity included.

The candidate should be qualified in the NEET PG entrance exam. The candidate should also have passed the MBBS degree with min. 50% marks and must have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification by the MCI.

The faculty of the the department are exceptionally talented, ethical and professional surgeons and the field and have tremendous experience in the medical arena, in the affiliated as well as other hospitals.
