Remarks

The main reason of choosing this college was the seas and the location. The fees asked by the college is very less when compared to other private colleges in Maharashtra and the college is not far away from my home and my travel expenses are also saved

Course Curriculum Overview

As I studied the medical course in the college days course curriculum is in depth. Everything is explain very clearly and the teachers also helps us in getting to know everything. Any doubts raised by us are properly salt and no questions are left on answered. The teachers are very professional and have a very high experience in their field

Course Fees: INR 124000 per year

Placement Experience

The college is okay in the Department of placement.There is no individual department for the placement of the students but the teachers do help the students in getting jobs. Some companies come in the college but only 10 to 20% of the students get jobs within the college it self otherwise the students have to work really hard

College Events

The campus life is very happening in the college as students from all the streams are invited to organise events and festivals so that the feeling of teamwork is always there. Even the seniors of the college are very helpful and never let the juniors down

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is nice and the college has a big playground.Every department in the college have separate labs and rooms for all the practical work and the classrooms are also very well ventilated. There is no drawback in the college infrastructure system

Hostel Facilities

College have hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The fees for the hostel is around Rs.20-Rs.25,000 which is not much and the rooms are also very big. We can take the rooms in twin sharing and the food,electricity, water are provided by the hostel itself

Admission

I got it in the college while giving exam. All the admissions IT Dia is entrance based and also I had to pass the 12 standard of Maharashtra State of secondary code of higher education

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

From freshman to graduate my experience at DSM college.

I have applied multiple college for the admission processes and i have confirmed one of them is swami vivekanand college but i have to choose DSM college. Because the acedamic reputarion is very good for this college and the acedmic strength is very low as compared to other college.
