Remarks

FDDI is the one of the best institute in kolkata. It has good infrastructure with all the facilities like A.C and digital classrooms, library, free and fast internet, medical facility, high tech design studios, labs with latest equipments, boys and girls hostel and much more. Our institute is equipped with International Testing Laboratory which is an icon of our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of 3 years consist 6 semesters. The course aims in providing the knowledge, skills and analytical tools about what is needed to become a successful manager in retail by effective synchronization of the concept at theortical and practical skills. The course provides sufficient experience and understanding in retail and merchandising industry. The course requires its students to be confidence and have good teamwork, commercial awareness, leadership skills.

Placement Experience

Placements are awesome in FDDI Kolkata. The students are placed in well known brands like Pantaloons, Sketchers, Reliance, Tommy Hilgifier and many more as a field manager, merchandiser, visual merchandiser and much more. The highest package was around 7 LPA. Our college also provides summer internship in top brands and stipend around 7 k per month was offered to the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee is 6.04 lakhs for 3 years. Its not that expensive but surely not affordable by everyone. Course fee is basically average. Yes, I am getting my money's worth as I have got to learnt a lot of things other than academics like management skills, leadership, adaptivity etc.

Campus Life

There are various extracurricular activities offered by institute includes Knowledge festival, inter college design competitions, Kick start fitness program, donation drive, seminars and conferences by industry expert. Students participated with full enthusiasm in these activities.

Admission

I select this course over other course because I was so passionate about business and fashion. I got admission in FDDI by qualifying AIST entrance test followed by counselling process and basic interview.

Faculty

Faculties are up to the mark. They teach us every subject with the help of real life examples that makes class interesting. All faculties always encourage and motivate us for doing projects and internships. Teaching is through presentations, ppt and videos as well as from conventional methods.

Stepping stone to success

Placement Experience:

Now i am pursuing BBA in final year, from the 3rd semester i gotten the opportunity for internship in Godrej. And many companies came here like Honda, Tata, Dhoot Transmission pvt ltd.etc.Atleast 90% student getting placement from here, company came here and selected the eligible students for their organization. Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is average. Many well known companies do come for campusing like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc. They offer an average package of 200000 LPA. The highest package is around 600000 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is 45% My plan after getting the degree is pursuing MBA..

Techno India University is best college

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements . Mostly visited companies are Wipro , Infosys, TCS, Pwc, Bandhan Bank, etc and the average package offer to students is 5-6 Lakhs. 40-50% students with high cgpa got direct College placements and 20-30% students got intership. My plan is go for higher studies in MBA after this BBA course.

LIFE IN TECHNO MAIN SALTLAKE

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the students become eligible for campus placements like tcs, cogzinent, Godrej, berger, Wipro and many more. The highest package was 50000 and the average package was 12000 according to students percentage throughout the semesters and knowledge. Very less students get placement while other go for MBA. While my plans after getting the degree is to pursue MBA cause it has more scope than BBA single degree

Placement Experience:

From second last semester students get internship opportunity and from last semester they cab get placement opportunities. Few students choose to go to do own business.
