Excellent in extra activities but poor in placement so overall VPCOE Baramati is good.

I had completed my Diploma in Mechanical from Government polytechnic karad in 2007 with first class (66 %) so eligible to take admission. I heard about VPCOE is best college so taken admission.

After completion of my Diploma the BE course is only 3 years, so getting exemption for the 1st year subjects are thermodynamics, design, refrigeration. Theory of machines, Strength of machines, Fluid power, Machine drawings, ets which are very interested.

For internship there is no internship required companies whatever were comes which offer direct job and given following packages, companies was offered the Job as a trainee engineer.

At year 2010 is very bad year for campus point of view till piaggio pvt ltd, Bharat Forge ltd pune , Menon and Menon, kolhapur was the companies were interested cummins was given very good annual package i.e 3.2 lpa but other are only 1-1.5 lpa.

There was lot of events organised by college, freshers party, saree day Rose day, friendship day, Gathering, Get together, Sports events, Technical paper presentation Tech fest also robo war was successfully organised.

College fees was expensive it was 60000 (sixty thounsand avg per year excluding canteen hostels fee) hostel fees was six thounsand per semester means 12000 (twelve thosand) per year and canteen fees was 24000 per year.

Sharad pawar scholarship for the topper of college, who is needy and economically backward class also anantrao pawar scholarship was there.

Overall college is good cause there is no difference between male and female equally treated also college culture is very good, no any ragging no any harassment and all are comes with moderate family (economically).

Hostel fees was Rs 12000 (twelve thousand ) per year but hostel was very good so fees was ok as per facilities mess food was not too good because avg 500-700 students were had lunch and dinner.

Seniors comments are not good because college can not help him for the placements so no job provide by college no extra efforts taken by college for the placements or no interaction with parents, not given awareness to student about private sector or market life.

Very busy schedule of exams held by college, several class test, unit test mid semester and then university exam of each subjects.

My mechanical department is very good comparing to other department, Well equipped lab for each subject, very huge and good workshop and mainly very friendly well knowledgeable teachers, many of these are masters in his subjects.
