Course Curriculum Overview
We had so many new things on the course curriculum, I was excited even before classes were even started. First year was an easy one, but after that came the tough parts. However, we managed to cope with it and still score good in semester-end exams.
Placement Experience
Our college wasn't so great when it came to placements and job opportunities. We did have a few companies at the campus placements, but most times, we had go and find jobs ourselves. But it was okay since there was a good name of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fees for the first year of Ph.D. was ?33,000, and for the next two years, it was ?31,500 each. In totality, the fees was around ?96,300, which was good enough for a Ph.D. I suppose it was feasible.
Campus Life
While doing research work in the multiple labs available, we would have fun learning about the new concepts, types of equipment and technologies. We also had a huge playground where we would play sometimes.
Admission
For Ph.D., there was an entrance exam, Common Entrance Test (CET) that I had to pass with a sufficient score. I gave the exam and produced a good score. Then after applying for the course, only some formalities had to be fulfilled.
Faculty
The faculties spent their whole time centred around us. First, they would run a complete research on the topic we were going to study next. They would always encourage us to ask questions, and when we did, they answered calmly.
