Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for the undergraduate course of B.Tech in civil engineering. The course is descriptive and understandable for us to absorb. It helps us to know the subject with depth. Exams are also frequently conducted by the college.

Placement Experience

Well-recognised companies like IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, Dell, Infosys and many others visit our campus every year to recruit students. The placement cell of our college really works hard to provide a 100% placement to all of its students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A fees of total Rs. 80,000/- is charged for the four year B.Tech course by the college. The fees is a meagre amount compared to the wonderful facilities that our college provides. It is hence understandable.

Campus Life

We have an amazing lush-green campus with wonderful grounds to play cricket, football, badminton or any sort of sports. The labs are also very well-maintained with instruments and chemicals as per requirement.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostel facilities with well-furnished rooms are there for the college students to avail. I have not opted for it, but I have got a good feedback about the hostels and the other facilities provided there, from my friends.

Admission

My admission to the college was through the JEE Mains Examination. After my 10+2 examination I appeared for the JEE Main examination. Securing a desired marks I enrolled my name for the seat-allotment procedure and finally made my place in this college.

All the professors of our faculty are highly qualified and provide us with a high quality of education. The lectures they give are enriched with detailed information about the course. All our queries are given importance and solved.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

My course is microbiology,, it's very interesting to learn about all the microbes and all their uses in our daily life , but when it comes to demonstrate practically ,, we don't have a microscope and weighing machine, the lab is not well maintained , and also the chemicals and salts are expired , We have no other options to use , so We are compelled to use that only

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

In the last year or 7th semester you will be able to attend campus recruitment and get placed in a reputed company. Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.
