College has a good infrastructure with digitalized classrooms and well equipped laboratories enhace the learning process of the students. Our campus has a well - established library, health care centre, residential accommodation with added facilities for recreation and learning.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a 3 year course consist 6 semesters, including examination. Though the course has been termed as 'General Surgery' it is not as much a general as one would expect as it involves surgical procedures including appendicitis, hernias, gall bladder surgeries, stomach and intestinal issues. As it mostly involves the skill and ability to care for many different surgical problems. The course makes an individual competent to handle medical problems effectively.
Placement Experience
As we know, doctors do not require any kind of placements. We have lots of options and opportunities to earn. After completion of MS in general surgery one can start working in Health centres, hospitals, medical foundation, research institutes and much more. One can also do private practice after the completion of course. The average salary of an MS (general surgery) graduate is 300,000 to Rs 500,000 per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is highly expensive and immoderate. The total fees is Rupees 90.03 lakhs for 3 year course in general surgery. Students can pay this high amount in 3 installments of 3000000 per year. It makes fee structure little feasible.
Campus Life
Our college provides and offers various activities to entertain students. Number of clubs and societies like social club, cultural clubs, health society and much more are also formed by college. These societies organises various activities like dance and singing competitions, poem competitions, sports and other activities.
Admission
I selected MS general surgery I wanted to become a surgery expert and I was curious about it. I got admission in this course on the basis of my percent in NEET PG examination followed by counselling.
Faculty
All faculties are doctorate and very experience and updated with the knowledge and technology. Some faculties are retired doctor from army or government hospitals. They are so willing about medical profession and give their best in teaching.
