The course is not very hectic. We were taught about various insects and their habitats. We learnt about their characteristic traits. We were assessed on the basis of exams which were both practical and theoretical. Beside, we were also asked to do projects.

Our professors offered career guidance to each and every students. We are taught about presentations that one need to submit in a job interview. We are counselled about our future. Various companies came to our institution for placements.

The fee structure was quite high. We had to pay Rs 62,000 for a year of training which is expensive.But, considering the high class training we get, the payable amount seemed fitting. The infrastructure of the institute is also very good.

The institute offers various scholarship programs which are sponsored by both the state and the central government. This scholarship programs are extremely beneficial to all those students who belonged from economically weak background but had abundant capabilities in his or her field of study. Even students can avail loan facility.

Majority of the students belonged from the middle class or higher middle class families. All of them had good mannerisms and had respect for each other. Apart from studies, our institute arranged various seminars, projects and programs on Agricultural Insects. These events gave us add on experiences which helped us in our future.

Students who have a Masters degree from any recognized university are eligible for the course. I could apply because I was eligible. I filled the form with all the relevant documents. My name was listed in the merit list published by the institute website. So, I was granted admission.

All the faculty members were highly experienced and professional.They taught us with utmost precision and gave us in-depth lectures. They even engaged in various experiments and projects so that we get a varied knowledge about our field of study.
