Course Curriculum Overview
We had 4 to 5 subjects for semesters and it was a three year long course where we were taught about food adulterants, emulsifiers, vegetable breeding. We had external and internal conducted at the end of each semester with practical examination taken and we could work on the fields. Various guest lectures were arranged. It was a very friendly college.
Placement Experience
The jobs were arranged at the end of last year with various well-known organisations and agricultural firms came to interview. Some of the main recognised forms for FSSAI, ISS, agricultural breeding services. 80% of the students got placed from our batch with an average package of Rs.10 lakhs per annum .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rs.40,000 was the approximate fee for the first year at the college which could be submitted in the form of demand draft, other modes of online payments but no cash was accepted. The travel and the hostel accommodation were not included in this fees.
Campus Life
The college was beautifully constructed and had big buildings with huge multipurpose hall. We could play the sports like cricket, football and the students are arranged various clubs where we could perform extra co-curricular activities like music, dance, art. The students came from different agricultural backgrounds and it was a very friendly environment.
Admission
After giving the UPCATET Entrance examination I apply to this college to their official website available. After submitting the required documents I was called upon the campus for the interview session and was counselled for a day. After the orientation my admission was confirmed.
Faculty
All of the teachers were well-known professionals and PhD holders in respect fields and had huge experiences. Minimum three years of experience were of the faculty to teach the students. They were easily communicable and helped us all along our queries and research works.
