Remarks

Considering the money that they are asking for a better quality can be maintained in Infrastructure as well as in faculty. In my opinion more experienced faculty are to be maintained for better results.

Entrance Preview

All India entrance examinationRank : 10231 It was a state government college and so there is no need of Donation to be given.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

First year is bit tough with 12 papers and rest all semesters with 7 papers in average was ok. But the thing is that if one gets a paper failed then that exam retest will come along with the next year's main exam. So it will get mixed and so there wont be gaps between each exam.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was quite tough since the lab exams and mini projects came along with that. Implementation of a new idea always takes time to be stable. There was no stipend offered by most but the completion certificate which was the most important one.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement was very very less during our passout year since there was a global recession going on in the year 2009. And that forced many of my friends to switch to other opportunities of specialization.

College Events

3.5

College Annual day was the most celebrated one with the complete college participating in it for 2 days in an year. Then comes the final year batch outing that we went to Bangalore Hyderabad and Mysore for around 5 days and 4 nights.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I was in management seat with 45K Rs a year excluding the books, examination fees, trip charges, celebration expenses etc. That was quite expensive considering the quality of service provided by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship was given only to the boy/girl who scored the most in the External exams conducted by the university. No loan facility was available in my knowledge.

Campus Life

3

Campus life was really joyfull with a lot of reasons to that. Yearly Sports competition always found out the most skilled boys/girls. Annual day competitions found some extra skilled ones and labs founded practically skillfull human beings.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels was really bad with no neatness and safety. Food was the biggest concern and was a real struggle during that times. So PG rentals was quite high at 3K Rs per month including breakfast and dinner.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni is conducted every year in the month of December. Even though the head count would be less still its a great moment that will make is laugh about the life we had lived there in the past.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs mostly came together and so was difficult to focus on one thing. The thing is that if one gets a paper failed then that exam retest will come along with the next year's main or lab exam. So it will get mixed and so there wont be gaps between each exam.

Faculty

3

Senior lecturers was good but recently joined staffs were not adequately qualified for the same. There is pure lack of experience for all such newly joined staffs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
