Course Curriculum Overview

The course is completely research oriented. We follow CBCS system with a semester system. The labs are chilled and project works are guided by professors. Assignments are also real life based and not hectic.

Placement Experience

Nothing much can be expected from the placement cell. Campusing does take place but not every student get a chance to meet the company. Salary is minimum and you do not get your desired job and company/industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are absolutely feasible. It is very much cheap than other colleges. 1st-year fees is Rs 8000 and there is nothing called hidden fees and extra charges. But to say, hostel and mess charges are different if you opt for it.

Campus Life

We observe good amount of extra curricular activities. From annual sports to fresher parties, qe have lots of engagement all year round. There is not so much pressure in us with studies. Campus is well disciplined.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is so cleaned that you can never imagine. Moreover the fees are also negligible. The food quality is good. You will get a seat in the hostel there are many rooms. There is AC and Non-AC facility.

Admission

Admission in based on the College Entrance Exam and marks scored in 10+2. A merit list will then be prepared. Finally you shall be informed by the college about your admission details and you need to visit.

Faculty

Faculty and Alumni network is highly qualified and they take keen interest to teach the students. They guide us with our syllabus and show us a bright career path. Professors always help us with our studies.

One of the southern indian most famous chemical company is there in our circle and other chemicals companies are there. other then this reason I like the chemistry subject and exciting to learn. In our chemistry department teacher give good preparation for the semester exams. My point of view the exams are easy to write excepting only few subjects.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
