Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET entrance test and I got 78k rank. This college named average and near to my location, and I heard it is good for Education but later I came to know it is not as I expected. I have joined this college because of its nearby to me and because of my bad rank. It's actually a new block, so I got a seat in ECE even though my rank is not so good. I am bit interested and have some knowledge on ECE dept so took up that course and moreover it is flexible to work in software and hardware organisations.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course structure has some loop holes like having irrelevant subjects in some of the semesters. so I think that needs a change and possibly we could find some time with our own core subjects. That will make us even better from now.Faculty is good bt not up to the mark. First 2 years of education goes fine with the knowledge of faculty but later it becomes a bit hectic with the methods they use to make us score in examinations and labs are not up to the mark, faced little problems.

Internships Opportunities

My internship experince is just 1 month in BHEL but having no stipend. That days were good and felt like real employees and got a real chance to work and know the things practically. Felt very good actually because we are out of that college atleast for one month.

Placement Experience

2

There are very less placements in our college and that to mostly customer sevice based, BPO kind of companies will be attending to our college. They had put some company names in their website but all of them are purely service or customer based. The provided package is not more than 2LPA.

College Events

2.5

Probably you dont find any named festivals in our college, we usually paticipate in other college fests. No much encouragement to celebrate some events. I remember once in our college they have conducted a workshop, not a big hit but some participants made the event purposefully and usually we will be having freshers and farewell party but confined to a particular departments only.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is good and lots of students fee will be payed by the government in the form of scholarships. But 35k is a lot of money for such kind of stuff less, quality less education. when comes to lab facilities, edcation, quality in faculty the fee structure is very high. The education in our college will not reach to the standards of paying money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships from state government will be available and even tution fee will be provided for the families .Who is having the income less than one lakh per year. I never heard of loans, so we never used them.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratios will be almost 5:2. For every 5 boys there will be 2 girls and campus looks very good with all greenery and mountains surrounding the college. Labs are good and frequently workshops will be conducted and response from other colleges, participation everything seems fine. Sports life remains only for 2 years later there will be no sports because of tight schedules for classes and labs. Campus recruitment training program will be conducted for final years and that will be useful to lot of students to cope up.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not bad and there are some known people around me like seniors from school or inter colleges or some people from surrounding our colony. The relations with our seniors are very good and we celebrated the farewell in happy and tragidic way. They used to help us when we asked for some doubts or suggestions kind of things. That reveals our relationship with each other.

Exam Structure

Exams conducted duly but even if we dont score, it dosnt matter. Lab exams conducted as per JNTU schedule. In our college we get good internal marks but bad external marks but some how we managed to pass the subjects. Good internal marks because our faculty eill give us if they hav some impression. It too difficult to get above 20 marks for 25, but we will surely get above 20 marks.
