Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is advanced. The syllabus for my course had little theory and more of practical practices. I had to learn the basics of Photoshop and other devices and then, do independent projects and digital art. By my final year, my portfolio had enough work to showcase and I knew enough about digital art.
Placement Experience
The Institute offers good job opportunities as I witnessed some established firms coming for recruitment. Even for internships, the Institute has their connections with firms and startups that students participate in large numbers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Institute is a private Institute and offers the best of resources. Keeping all these factors, charging annual fee of approximately Rs. 1,00,000+ was acceptable for me. Although, my batchmates always considered it to be asking for too much amount.
Campus Life
I majorly participated in the exhibitions and lecture theatres wherein my artwork was often on display and I would receive constructive feedback from the visitors. Other than that, the Institute conducts workshops that are headed by their alumnis.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is well connected. The professors are still in touch with their students. The institute is still working on their alumni Association once done, I think many would be pelased to become part of it.
Admission
The admission procedure needs some preparation and organization. As a student, after you have filled the registration form online, you must be prepared to give the entrance examination. After giving the exam, you would have to face a personal interview or portfolio discussion session. All the steps during admissions will matter so, one must be relaxed, composed and confident about their work and skills.
Faculty
The professors were exceptionally good with their job. While the institute encourages adoption of new technology for my course, my professors are well aware of how to use those resources with efficiency. I formed great rapport with them and even after passing out, I still remain in touch.
