Remarks

Initially, I was quite apprehensive about studying in a Telugu college. But, I was quite surprised by it! All the teachers are fluent in English, but have chosen this profession for the love of their mother tongue!

Course Curriculum Overview

The Ph.D at Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University is a 3-year course split into 6 semesters. I have learnt a plethora of tips and tricks here for my future career in the field of journalism and media and loved the course.

Placement Experience

Yes, the opportunities are brilliant! Close to 90% students in our batch got placed during campussing! I was over the moon when I was picked by a well-known digital media outlet! You get mnay internships opportunities here as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the Ph.D course is definitely higher than the Bachelors and Masters, but it is still quite affordable for the Indian middle class. The first year cost Rs 9400 and the next two years cost Rs 8467 each.

Campus Life

We have awesome language labs and audio-visual studios for teaching. Since we have journalism, sculpture and dance courses, there are separate rooms specially made for these courses. The infrastructure is brilliant.

Admission

To get admission in this reputed college, you need to have at least 50% aggregate in your post-graduation degree. The you apply online. They let you know the results via merit list in a very short period of time.

Not only qualified, the teachers are also experienced in their field of teaching! A couple of them even write columns! They have super cool hacks for the students to follow and I was very lucky to have them.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 6th sem. Amazon, Infosys, optum visit. Highest package is around ?50LPA, avg ?3.5 LPA. Around 75% placed. I plan to prepare for ppo opportunites and take up internships post degree.

My BTech experience at CMR Technical Campus 21-25 batch

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.

A great place to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

Many companies and product based startups provided different opportunites for different roles like technical support engineer intern etc to 1st year students with a stipend of 15k to 30k. I mean this is huge for a student who just started his learning.

At the end of 7th semester campus placements facilities are offered to the students most companies visit to the college to offer placements to the students from different sectors from ed tech to financial sector and ther offers made are count to 70% of the students A minimum of 50% of students get placed as of my research the average packege is 20LPA and highest packege is near to 68LPA offered to a ece student My plans after btech degeree is to pursue mba because enginnering is not my cup of tea
