Course Curriculum Overview

The Masters in Applied Linguistics is a rare degree in the country and an extremely enjoyable one. The 2-year course is divided into 4 semesters, with each bringing diverse languages, facts and reading.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement season is ripe with offers! Most of them come from well-reputed schools who want teachers for fine arts or foreign languages. Many students also sit for the government exams. We also get internships from college.

College Events

4

You can imagine how many events we have in a college focused on fine arts and linguistics! We are always having intra and inter-college competitions, debates and quizzes. I participated in most of them!

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. Since it is a government funded institute, the fee is reasonable. The fee for the first year is Rs 4600 and for the second year is Rs 4060. So, in total, Rs 8660 for 2 years.

Campus Life

Since it is a Telugu university, there is not much diversity when it comes to community. All the students are from this very state. But because of the small fee, there are students from all social strata and we all have a gala time together.

Admission

This is a fine college and one of the only Telugu universities. The eligibility criteria is to make sure that you pass your graduation with a decent score of at least 50%. Then you can apply for a seat.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are highly educated and most of them are trilingual also! They can speak in Telugu, English, and even a couple of foreign languages with the same ease, panache, and fluency! So happy to learn from them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. So far Infosys, accenture, cognizant, LSEG, Verisk have come for placements. The details are unknown to all the people but the highest package yet has been around 16-20 LPA. The Percentage of students getting placed is less compared to previous years around 20-30%
