Remarks

The college was an amazing experience for me. It taught me and trained me to teach youngsters and shape the minds of the next generation. The teachers were all very considerate and great role models for us.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was not very hectic. The course was 6-month long and was for two days with 3-hour classes. They also had a mandatory four weeks of internship with KLAY. The program was quite accomodating and was moderately planned.

Placement Experience

4.5

A 4 week internship was done towards the end of the program which i did at KLAY. The college does not offer placements but they do train you to look for jobs and give students all the resources required and at the college's disposal. We also got CV preps and mock interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My course fees cost me 48,000 rupees, which i feel was not bad as the students were given professional level training, experience and exposure to the teaching career. There were scholarships and EMI opportunities the students could choose.

Campus Life

The college was a professional college so most of the extra-curricular was related to teacher training. There were workshops and seminars conducted by the teachers that were set up by the college. They were very good.

Admission

I've always wanted to teach children as i found it interesting and enriching. My admission to KLAY was not very difficult. They had a pretty much straightforward procedure. We just had to prove that we have 12 years of learning experience and english language knowledge.

Faculty

5

Our department faculty was quite welcoming and even though we only saw them two days a week we had complete access to them to ask any doubts that we might occur while studying by ourselves. The college was insistent on that.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
