Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was meticulously planned. The course was comprehensive. The syllabus is divided into semesters. We had to appear for the practical as well as theoretical examinations. The course was a blend of practical application and theoretical framework.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities provided by our college are quite good. The top recruiters which came for hiring students for various posts were Nokia, Samsung, Syntel, Polaris etc. The average package was around 7 lakhs per annum. Paid and unpaid internships were also provided by our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is reasonable. The fee is low in comparison to the other institutions offering the same course. The fee charged for my course was around 75,000 for a year. The hostel charges had to be paid separately.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of our college supports research and development. The labs are equipped with modern tools and high-speed internet. The classrooms are airy and ventilated. There is an on-campus medical facility as well. Our college organises a tech-fest called techkriti where several programming contests are held.
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The infrastructure of our hostel is well maintained. The rooms are well furnished. The mess provides nutritious and delicious food and it is fully air-conditioned. The mess is combined for both girls and boys.
Admission
The admissions to the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) are accepted through a computerised common admission test. After that, the shortlisted candidates have to sit for a 2-hour counselling session and 3 rounds of seat allocation. The application process is online. The counselling for allotment process is also held online.
Faculty
The college faculty was well trained and experienced. Some of them possessed a doctoral degree and had several years of research experience. They taught us the course in modules and the lectures were interesting. We learnt a lot from our teachers.
