Course Curriculum Overview

I pursued my research in engineering mechanics, where we focused on a wide range of analytical, numerical and experimental techniques. The Unit?s technologically oriented studies primarily focus on aerospace and chemical applications. One really has to give their everything to study as it is quite hectic.

Placement Experience

5

The students of our college easily get summer internships. Almost every student does an internship here or there. Even, it is very easy to get placed once you have studied here. Most PHD holders get placed at reputed engineering colleges as professors. Others also get placed at big multinationals with average packages of 10-12 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. The one year fee for my course was just Rs. 25000, which makes the total fees Rs. 50000. However there are other expenses that students have to occur like hostel and mess charges and we even had to spend hefty amounts of study material.

Campus Life

Despite being a research institute, the student life was never boring. There are events like freshers welcome and hostel day, which the students enjoyed. Apart from this, there are also sports like Table tennis and volleyball and we also have a well equipped gym for students to use.

Admission

Getting an admission here is really tough as it is one of the premier most institutes for higher education. For my admission, I had scored more than 50% in my graduation, then I also cleared the GATE exam. After that I sat before a panel for a personal interview in Bangalore and my admission was finalized.

Faculty

5

The faculty there was the most educated bunch of people I've ever met in my life. All the focus was always on study. The faculty members had links with scientists all around the country and the world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1st i opted for b.pharm but once i got to know about pharm.d it shifted my focus, well Pharm.D is much bigger and deeper course as compared to b.pharm and m.pharm, there is an subject (pharmacotherapy) which is exclusive only for pharm.D , the course will bring in depth knowledge about drugs, manufacturing, storing, pharmacokinetics and dynamics, one thing i'd like to change is the practical knowledge, i would like to add more in depth practical knowledge, more exposure to the students in every aspects needed. The course is too big but with proper guidance and knowledge it feels easy.
