Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty advanced which teaches and trains us in handling of various situations that arise in hospital settings, usage and control of basic medical equipments, appliances and technology. We are thoroughly trained and knowledge is ingrained into us for how to care for a patient and make them feel safe.
Placement Experience
The college is associated with Sri Sathya Sai Institute hospital that have highly qualified and skilled doctors and medical faculty. Many students after completing the course in Bsc nursing are provided internship and permanent job in the hospital.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure for the entire duration of three years of BSc in Nursing is 60,000 Rs which can be paid on an academic year basis. The fees is really feasible and affordable considering the facilities we have been given at the college.
Campus Life
The laboratories that are assigned to the nursing department and the medical equipment that we are trained on are well maintained with a supporting staff and attendants. The teachers train us in a well mannered fashion. Almost every student or individual that I have met in my college has been extremely open minded and cultured.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students regularly help us when we face an issue in completing assignments or understanding medical concepts. I had been feeling a little lonely at the start of my first academic year but my senior roommates were extremely helpful and polite with me.
Admission
Admission to the course is handed on the basis of marks/score achieved in 10+2, minimum criteria is 50% in the relevant subjects. Also an entrance exam is conducted, I had given AIIMS nursing examination but there is also an entrance examination called NLN PAX for Bsc in Nursing.
Faculty
Skilled and experienced teachers are part of the faculty in our college that have regularly fulfilled their role as guides and mentors for us students. Whenever there is an issue related to an assignment or examination I have been aided by the faculty.
