SBU memories

The duration of the course is of 3 years. Each year is divided into 2 semesters. Practical and theory examinations at the end of each semester were conducted by the college. College offers different facilities to the students such as beautiful campus, library with plenty of books, several laboratories and much more. I used all these resources for my overall development.

Placement and job opportunities were best. Different reputed industries like tata, Amazon visited the college for placement drive and picked up talented students. Internships were also provided by the students. About 80% students from my batch placed in reputed companies.

Events were the strength of the college. All the festivals, independence day, republic Day, annual meet, convocation ceremony, traditional day all are celebrated here with same interest. All students and faculty participated in all the events and made it wonderful.

The college fees was feasible as compared to other colleges. College charges about 50-51 thousands rs. Per year. Good placement and best faculty was the only reason behind this fees. Scholarships were also provided by the college for talented students.

Extracurricular activities were the daily routine of the college. A technical festival which is the collaboration of all the technical activities is arranged once in a year. Also different quizzes, debates, dramas, plays, seminars and sports were conducted by the college for the overall development of the students.

Sarala Birla University - [SBU] is one of the reputed private Institute in Ranchi, Jharkhand. College offers different diploma and graduation courses in various streams. I heard about the diploma course offered by this Institute hence I completed my 10th And On merit basis I got admission here for diploma in mechanical engineering.

The faculty of the college was outstanding. They had a depth knowledge about all the engineering subjects like som & tom. First I just hate this subjects but due to their excellent teaching and techniques I got interest in this subjects. They helped us a lot to make us a proficient engineer.
