The reason I chose to study Biomedical Engineering in Vel tech University is because it is located near to my house and it is one of the leading universities in Tamilnadu.Even it is ranked top in the worldwide and nationwide college list.The labs are well equipped and the staffs are trained enough to provide better the students a better understanding on the subjects .Vel tech University is producing qualified Engineers every year. The facilities and the support from the institution is awesome. They even support students to apply for foreign internships which most of the college's don't offer to their students. Students are encouraged to learn in a practical method so that they can implement and see whatever they have learnt. It is one of the best institution to study Biomedical Engineering as they offer to support many projects, even they provide are funding for many student startups.I highly recommend this Institution to learn and improve your knowledge.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to learn Biomedical Engineering because I am very interested in this field .The faculty student ratio is around 30:1 .Almost 80 % of the facilities are Doctorates with high teaching quality. Exams will occur quite often in order to know about the student's understanding and to improve their knowledge
Internships Opportunities
They offer international internship opportunities with full funding and on campus internships as well .The students will get a great exposure to the working environment while they are studying itself .
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good. The students are trained for placement.The university itself has a soft skill training unit so that the students will ne more confident while attending the interviews and during placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees will be around 1 lakh . We can get fundings for our projects and startup companies from the University itself
Campus Life
The campus environment is so good .It is very clean and neat.We can get food and water anytime .Even we can get medical assistance within the campus itself. They have ambulance services incase of emergencies.
