Remarks

You will experience the many different cultures in one place. The diversity is huge. The curriculum is very updated. So if you are thinking about studying history, NU is a good place for you. Because of the students coming from different countries, you will different perspectives of a similar issues and history affect them.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of my major is up to date. It covers all the major issues and theories of past and of the present dates. The curriculum of first two semesters is more focused on the theory part to give students a good understanding of subject and lay down the foundation of basic principles of the research. However the next two semester is focused heavily on the research part, from teaching research methodologies to writing a dissertation independently under a supervisor from the faculty. The grades will be evaluated based on your performance in surprise quizzes, term papers, final exams. however in the last semester, you have to write a thesis or do research along with all above mentioned things to pass the semester.

Placement Experience

I can only speak on the behalf of my major. NU doesn?t provide any internship for my major . however you can easily do many internship around the country and even around the globe. There are many major prominent think tanks in Delhi, like NMF, ICWA etc which offers summer internships or you can write for an newspaper. Even tho NU doesn?t provide any internship or job, but the faculty members through their networks can help you with internship and job process.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of NU is bit expensive than its counterparts. The total fee for 2 years is around 134000 INR. The fee for first semester is 42500 , then fee for each remaining semester is 30500. However the fee is justifiable with all the facilities they provide you.

Fees and Financial Aid

University provides no scholarships to students. However it does not provides relaxation to the reserved category. Students can also apply for the scholarship online provide by State Government and Central Government to support students.

Campus Life

The student diversity is huge in NU, which is what I love about this university. You will get the first hand experience all the cultures of different south asian countries and their authentic food(this part is very important). Fresher party to welcome new students or Farewell party to say goodbye to your seniors , are the main events to know each other better. Having this huge diversity in the university, this will prepared you for future to adjust in new culture easily without having a huge culture shock.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is pretty decent and the fee is depends upon what facilities you choose AC or non AC, twin sharing or not. So I opt for NON AC with twin sharing and I paid 12500 per semester You will have access to free wifi . Rooms are pretty big, well ventilated with an attached clean and sanitized bathroom. You will get your own closet, study table and most important power plug. The food of hostel mess is pretty good too. The mess fee is 22420 per semester for everyone.

Admission

One of my aim, since I choose humanities in my 11TH class is to work as Historian. that?s how I ended up in NU . The admission process is not as many other universities in the country. Along with application form , you have to submit a SOP, self introduction note and you will call for an intervire if they like your application.

All the faculty members have pretty experienced in the course they teach. Most of the faculty members have PhDs from major universities and have adequate experience in teaching and the faculty network is pretty good too and well connected with other scholars around the globe.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.

In the end, it can say that the backward area of ??Bihar in which this college is located. There, they not only keep the future of Wah's children, but are also playing a big role in the development of that city. Despite being in a very small city of Bihar, a very good building, Varkalas facility, international culture maintains a very good atmosphere here. Due to the border with Nepal country, many children of Nepal also come here to study.
