Remarks

I love Nalanda University. It is one the best universities in India and the courses are very good. Plus, the teachers are very helpful. I made a lot of friends and had a great time in the hostel too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a history course, the syllabus was very lengthy and complicated but that is how it is. There were a lot of subjects that needed a lot of studying and research. Exams were comprehensive and the course curriculum covered everything that came in the exams.

Placement Experience

3

Being a theoretical course, there are not a lot of placement opportunities. The student generally go for either PhD or B.Ed courses after finishing masters. Although there are internships that students can get as researchers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for my batch was 67,000 per year. Since this was a two years course the total amount that I had to pay just for tuition was approximately 1.3 lakhs. I feel its quite economical when it comes to a masters degree.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities included music, dance and sports. there were a lot of competitions held in our college where other colleges also came to participate. It was fun to do other activities along with studying.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are decent. they are clean and hygienic. there is always a warden present to take care of us. The hostels are fenced properly and there are guards who make us feel safe. There are different hostels for boys and girls.

Admission

M.A in Historical Studies has fairly simple admission criteria. All you have to do is fill up the online for on the University's website and have to have a graduation marks of more than 60%. The final selection happens after interview.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was very knowledgeable and smart. The history professors taught us how to remember dates and facts in a very easy way. they were very helpful both inside and outside class. They gave appropriate notes for most subjects that helped a lot during exams.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

Remarks:

The most important criteria or the factor which influences me to get admission in this college is their fee structure. As compare to other colleges ISM has affordable fee structure and they also provide the drcc loan if you are not able to pay by own.ISM gives the quality of education and after getting admission in this college I am totally agree with it. They not only focus the academics but they also focus on the co curricular so that the students must have knowledge about all the things and they can do their best in the field in which they are interested. The management of college is awesome and I just want to tell you if you really want to learn something go for it.
