Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum for the BA Economics is designed ideally by the department covering various topics such as public finance, Indian Economics, Statistics, micro and macroeconomics, etc which gives advanced knowledge to the students. Apart from that assignments and viva are also conducted regularly.

Placement Experience

The University of Mumbai does provide its students with certain jobs and placement opportunities through which they can start their careers and gain experience. Apart from that students have to undergo mandatory internships in order to get industry-based experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for BA Economics costs around Rs 11,000 for a while 3-year course. This fee is quite affordable for all the students and the amount is justified with the kind of academics and facilities provided by the university to the students.

Campus Life

In terms of extracurricular activities, College provides its students with various facilities and resources which they can use for their studies and college life. Apart from that Camus consists of a big library, medical center, beautiful sports complex, etc which students can avail.

I got my admission to the university through the merit list provided by the university. First I applied in college by filling the online admission form with your details. After that I got my name on the admission list and then visited the campus to sign up with the formalities.

The faculty of my department are highly accomplished and very kind toward the students. As the course is based on distance learning so students don't visit college regularly but still teachers help them in every way by providing them with study materials and clearing up their doubts and queries.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

Ok ok college not much good

I choose this college because my sister was already studying there. Also i didn't apply to other colleges because we dint had sufficient money. This college was affordable to us. There was no exam given for admission. Admission process was very simple. They did not check any eligibility of students to give admission in their college.
