The academic activities of the Department emphasizes deep understanding of fundamental principles, development of creative ability to handle the challenges of Civil Engineering, and the analytical ability to solve problems which are interdisciplinary in nature.

ill now, my experience in college has been very helpful for me; especially during my recruitment to my part-time job. My seniors also have the same experience and opinion. The teachers are very supportive during placement drives. Many companies reach out to the college for placement drives and job fests.

We also have a separate department for both self-financing and aided courses. Events like college day, arts day, talent day, sports day, and commerce fest, etc., were conducted only for students. All clubs conducts events periodically throughout the year, such as Technical quiz, Technical debates, Paper presentations, Symposium, workshop and conferences etc, promoting team spirit and hard work.

The fees is feasible. You get the best campus and education in the state. Hostel and mess are to be paid different and is same for all the students. There are some field visits for which extra charges are paid.

The club under Civil Engineering CE-GREX was started to strengthen extra-curricular development of the students. It covers all the important and essential activities and events so that they can apply it in their professional life.The club organizes a multitude of competitions and special lectures all round the year and work to encourage and mentor innovative student-led Seminars. Association conducted some technical paper presentations especially concentrating on last year students.

There is an online(Application Fee Rs.500) to be paid. You also have to fill a form online and submit the required documents. You can also expect a call back from the university after filling the form the fess is non refundable.

Teachers in our college are very good. They are well qualified and helpful, especially for our higher studies. Most of the teachers were PhD holders. The quality of teaching was excellent. Our college also conducts a feedback session to get to know the quality of teachers. So we get an opportunity to express our opinion regarding their teaching quality without any fear. They also provide knowledge apart from the syllabus.
