Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for the MD courses is very difficult and is extremely vast. You will have to spend many hours buried in books and doing research. There is a lot of portion to cover and a lot of practical work to be done as well.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are very good at Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Scienes. There is an excellent footfall in the medical college and thus you get to learn a lot from the patients. The college has a great image so getting jobs at private and public hospitals is easy.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is little high for the pg courses, especially MD. The annual fee for the general category is Rs. 22,75,000/- so the total fees for the 2 year MD is Rs. 45,50,000/-. It is more or less the norm for MD in India.
Campus Life
The college celebrates several events every year for the extracurricular activities in the campus itself such as Yoga Day, chess, carrom, football, table tennis, National Sports Day. They also encourage participation in All India Inter University Competition.
Admission
To get admission you will have to go to the college's official website and head to their admission portal on the front page, and then follow the instructions. You can also go to the college and do the process in person. The admission is done on the basis of NEET PG scores.
Faculty
The faculty is very good, and the PG guides are very qualified and experienced. The HOD is Dr. Pradeep Patil and he has a demonstrated experience of over 40 years in the field of psychiatry. Other PG guides are also just as qualified.
