Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very interesting and useful in our day to day life. The whole curriculum was divided into four semester which spreads over two years. The curriculum includes social group work, field work, community organizations etc. The university conducts examination on regular basis. They regularly conducts class test, formative assessment and Internal assessment
Placement Experience
The training and placement cell of the university aims at providing quality placement to the students.They invite many companies like HCL, AXIS BANK, Capgemini, Accenture, INDUSIND BANK etc for campus recruitment. Many job opportunities are there after completing this course. Students can work in central and state social work department, Government hospitals, medical clinics, nursing homes, educational institutions etc. After persuing my course, i started working in a local health care center as a social worker.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees of the entire course was around 10000 rupees. My per semester fees was around 2500 rupees which i feel very good and nominal. Besides the total fees, we need to pay hostel and examination fees which was not included in the total fees. The fees was quite feasible. I was very satisfied with my fees.
Campus Life
The university provides many platform for the students by organizing extracurricular activities. Many sports activities like gymnastics, ludo, chess, kabaddi, volleyball, cricket, football are organized in our university. Many other activities are also organized in our university. These activities helps us to inculcate a sportsmanship, competition spirit, co - operation and team spirit.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure and facilities was very good. Admission in the hostel was given on merit. Each room of the hostel was ventilated and well furnished with bed, table, chairs, almirah, fan, light etc. Many other facilities like water coller, geyser, power backup are also provided by the hostel. My hostel life will be unforgettable moment in my whole life. I spent many good times in the hostel with my friends.
Admission
Admission in this course was based on marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Students after qualifying their B.SW or graduation with sociology are eligible to apply for admission in this course.
Faculty
Teachers of our university are very qualified and experienced. Most of the teachers have many years of experience in their respective fields. They provide very good knowledge and valuable knowledge.Teachers encourage us a lot in our studies.
