My college days in PDKV

The duration of my course was 2 years and 4 semesters. we had regular farms visits to see the animal husbandries and how they work. the course topics were very good especially Animal Breeding and Genetics, Animal genetics research, Animal reproduction, Animal physiology, Animal Health and Behaviour and Animal Nutrition. The course focused on animal health and performance.

Placement cell conducted the personality developments classes for the students. Placement process in three steps occurred in college written test, group discussions and personal interviews. The college always focused on big companies for job placements where students could get a good experience and better training in their fields of work. Campus interviews were also being arranged whenever required by different organizations.

Fees structure of my course was INR 31,300 But I belonged to a reserved category so I didn't have to pay the fees for my course. the state government provides me with a scholarship because as per the rules of government of India. But if I talked about the fees it was very feasible and easy to afford.

The college had a strong alumni network with alumni events held every year All laboratories of the college were well equipped and fitted with the latest equipment and instruments. Wi-Fi campus with unlimited access to the Internet, AC Conference Hall. I had always believed in value-based education, where a modern quality education has imparted an environment which was in conformity with our rich traditions and heritage.

After completing my two-year Undergraduation in B.Sc.(Hons.) I got admission in this course. But I had to pass the Common Entrance Test which was conducted by MAUEB, Pune. The college gave me admission on the basis of marks in entrance and personal interview. Then I produced my original mark sheet and documents and The HOD of the department gave me a confirmation letter.

The faculty had solid knowledge that supports learning and Research. All staff and faculties were amazing in their field. All of the teachers were selected by the government exam and they were very much qualified. most of them were having a PhD degree, which was the best thing about them.
