Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus for the course is created ideally by the faculty members which provides hindsight to students about journalism and communication which would help them in their career. Also, examination and class tests are conducted frequently.

Placement Experience

Overall placement record for the College has been great as most of my seniors are placed in well reputed from and that has helped them to advance their career. Various media houses and new agencies visit every year to provide jobs to students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Xavier provides its students with good learning and training and teaches those course which is not available in every university do the fee structure for the course might be expensive than other universities. The total fee for the course which costs around 3.25 lakhs for 10 months course.

Campus Life

In terms of extracurricular activities, there are various clubs as committees in the department that organized various events outside class room to give a chance to students to participate and learn from these events and competitions.

Admission

To seek admission in the college you have to apply in it by filling the online application form and then appear for the entrance exams followed up by the interview. After that, if you get inducted in college you have to visit the college and submit the documents.

Faculty

Most of the faculty members of my department are highly trained and very helpful towards the students. Along with the bookish knowledge, teachers provide students with practical training and knowledge to give students a good knowledge of the subject.

The highest package: is 24 lpa and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Beyond the Classroom: Life at IISER PUNE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses which are offered are very up to date and give and actual conceptual understanding of the topics the courses are such that it is relevant to the real world applicantions and program our mind in thinking in a research and analytical perspective. I think the current course curriculum is enough and really good no need to improve further. Frequency of exams are 2 months Midsems and endsems and quizzes in Between then.

Bachelors in any course with 60% marks was the eligibility criteria. The forms, fees and dates are regularly updated on XIC website. Not much idea about reservation benefits.
