The course was quite interesting and taught us a compliation of strategy and marketing techniques. The course consisted of 29 modules and 81 credits for the students to pass.
Placement Experience
The placement drive occurs towards the end of the academic term and students looked at business Corporations, PR Specialist Service Providers. Some of the major companies that recruited us were Genesis Burson-Marsteller, MSL, Text 100, Adfactors, Cohn & Wolfe, Publicizes Group, Dentsu Network.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course cost me 2,63,870 rupees, which was feasible. There were additional exam fees that we would pay towards the exam time, but comparatively it was a practical amount considering the exposure we got studying the course.
Campus Life
We had many workshops and functions held throughout the year. We celebrated most indian and other festivals and had amazing annual functions students can take part in. The students also were given extra trainings and help with subjects they'd like to learn.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't get a room in the hostel, but i got a room in the PG nearby. There are many PG's nearby which is not very expensive and have a lot of facilities. My pg also served great food in the mess and had recreational rooms.
Admission
XIC is one of the best colleges in the country and the admission process to the college is rigid. Therefore the college is worth your troubles. For my course i had to give an entrance exam, then sit in for a GD after which there was a PI for the remaining students.
Faculty
Our faculty consisted of professors and individuals who were very competent and highly skilled in their related field of expertise. They were really hospitable and warm. The teachers and the non teaching staff were all so approachable
