Remarks

The college is great in terms of faculty and quality of education. The money spent here is definitely worth it. Most of the students opt for this college instead of the private institutions providing the same courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is designed specifically with more stress on research based learning. It is very vast and we gain a lot of knowledge about the social aspects of society, the human rights and more. The exams are tough and one must be thorough to get good grades.

Placement Experience

1.5

There is a lack of placement cell and internship provisions. But the quality of education provided by them is enough for us to get a job off campus. Moreover, the faculties have great connections and recommend the students in great jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is around 92000 per year which has exam fee, tuition fee and other components taken into account. The fees is reasonable as they provide really good facilities and their faculty has great experience in teaching.

Campus Life

The students are very active in organizing interesting workshops, conferences and seminars. We have plenary hall in which many programs are hosted and it is open to public. The Wednesdays are fixed for seminars organized by the students. They also have a huge resource center.

Admission

The college conducts a national level entrance test namely, All India Admission Test (ILICAT). It is an online test. Based on the scores of this test, I got an admission to this college. After the shortlisting we were called for counselling in the university.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very engaging and always comes up with good ideas to deliver lectures and generate interest among the students. They have always been our support pillars and have cooperated in every way possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

As I am 1st year student i don't know much about it but most probably placement starts in third year. Well known companies reach out to our college for placement. Avg package would be around 6-7 lpa. 80% of our students easily get placed. My plan is to open a business in my upcoming future.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was studying, students were doubling down to study Software engineering, no matter which stream they belong too. But now, Electronics and Communication has become an important area to study as it holds promosing carreer options in the age of AI where we need Chips and hardware design, server management. People in mechanical engineering can excel if they focus on building something rather than just studying. In order to prepare for real world applications, one has to do a lot of things rather than sticking to only one persuit. I don't have much to suggest something in course carriculam and this college has best teaching methods regardless what they are taught. Students have ample time to do things they like in every semister. Studying for nearly 2 weeks before sessional exams and 1 month before final exams is enough and rest of the time can be dedicated into building something important.
