Very good college.

The course curriculum was hard but very important. The four years course was divided into eight semesters. The curriculum includes the study of biological components, chemical activities of organisms and bioinformatics involved in basic biotechnology engineering and research studies. Theory, practical, laboratory work, field work are important part of the curriculum. The exam structure was very good in our college. We have have to give two exams in each semester. One was the Internal Assessment and other was the final examination.

Placement was good in our college. The college has a placement cell who helps the students by organizing many training sessions, mock interviews, group discussions, communication skills. They invite many companies to our college for campus interview. Some of the companies are Godrej Agro limited, Bank or Maharashtra, ICICI Bank, Manjushree Plantation company limited, East - West Seed International private limited etc. They offer a average salary package of 6 lakh annually.

The fees structure was very good in our college. I paid around 76000 rupees for the entire course which was very less as compared to other colleges. Examination fees was included in the total fees. The fees was very much feasible for all the students.

The college provides many scholarship facility to its students. Some of the scholarship are National scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate students, Junior and Senior Research fellowship, Merit cum Means scholarship, post Metric scholarship by the Government of India etc. These scholarships helps the student a lot in their studies. Many banks also provide educational loan to the students.

Many indoor and outdoor games, track events, annual functions, seminars, field visit etc are organized in our college. These extracurricular activities are very good to show our talents. We participate in all the activities. Besides these, many cultural competitions and literary competitions are also organized in which all students actively participate.

Admission in our college was based on marks obtained in last qualifying examination and also on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination. The minimum eligibility for getting admission was 50 percent of marks in higher secondary examination from science stream. Students who cleared their MHCET, CET, JEE Mains, NEET are also eligible to apply for admission in this course.

The teachers of our college are very qualified. Most of the teachers have obtained Doctorate and M. Phil degree. They try to explain each and every topic in a very simple and systematic way. Teachers are student oriented.
