Course Curriculum Overview
The course is mainly focused on enabling a candidate to become a successful chemical engineer and equips a student with all relevant skills and abilities for that matter. Exams are conducted on semester basis where there is one mid-sem exam and one end-sem exam.
Placement Experience
Every batch gets 100% placement every year. The batch sizes are generally small (around 20-25 people) and there are ample opportunities to get into a renowned organization until one messes up badly. Summer internship opportunity is provided to every student by the placement committee of the course and also the final placements are handled by the placement committee only
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for the entire course is around 3 lakh INR including hostel fees and fooding lodging facilities. 1.5 lakh is the total tuition fees required for this course. The course is pretty cheap compared to other similar courses offered in different institutions.
Campus Life
There are ample opportunities for extracurricular activities at the campus. Gym, swimming, badminton, cricket, football, tennis, yoga, weight lifting, martial arts are some of the sports that are taught at the technology student's gymkhana and every student can avail these facilities for a nominal fees.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a vast alumni network who passed out from this college. The alumnis make frequent visit to the campus and interact with current students to inform them about the corporate scenario. They are also invited for guest lectures and an annual alumni meet event. The alumnis help students to train better and also for final placements
Admission
IICT Hyderabad offers admission to the Ph.D. course under 2 specializations and admission to the course will be based on the performance in the interview conducted by the institute. Students with Post Graduation Degree in the relevant subjects can apply for admission to the course.
Faculty
As per the rules of , all faculties have to be PhD and the same applies here too. The faculties are adequately skilled and helpful while imparting quality education. Teachers generally bring PPT slides on their teaching topics and explain it in details in class. Also, attendance is mandatory.
