Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of the course is precise and focuses majorly on the orthodontics part of the surgery. It prepares students in a wholesome manner and is therefore, a course that is truly binding and full of knowledge.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities of the college are amazing as students are offered a fair and equitable chance to work at a renowned institution upon the completion of their course. There are several internship opportunities too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The three year, full time, on-campus course cost ?24 lakhs which is pretty inexpensive if compared to any other university offering the same course. In my opinion, this fee structure is indeed value for money.

Campus Life

Cultural evenings, seminars, visits etcetera are organised throughout the year to rejuvenate students and help them learn new things and refine their existing skills too. These activities are highly appreciated by the students.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is strong and highly successful. They are always there to help us and share some great pieces of advice which are crucial for one's growth and development. I am glad to have such seniors.

Admission

I am currently pursuing the Master of Dental Surgery course in Orthodontics from Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences - [DMIMS], Wardha. They have admission procedures based both on the score of B.D.S and NEET MDS.

The teaching staff of the college and especially of my department is too good to be true as they take personal interest in the growth and development of every student. They are smart, skilled and resourceful.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

The college is best for placement and club activity

Placement Experience:

In my branch, the placement is good In 2025, 150 students are placed in Wipro, infosys, Amazon and Google like companies the minimum package is seven lakh. Also in my branch one Student it is placed in Amazon with 47 lakh rupees package in college. They already prepare Student for interviews and aptitude test. The placement cell is conduct aptitude test with the Google for students for each semester in that they test our coding skills, English skills and attitude test from that they give us a detail information in which skills are lacking and on which skill we want to work

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS
